Step Outside Together: Unforgettable Arctic Experiences for Any Group
Looking to break free from the daily routine and reconnect in the heart of nature? At Direct North, we craft tailored group experiences in and around Piteå that bring people together. Whether you are aiming to inspire your workplace, celebrate a milestone with loved ones, or host an immersive wilderness conference, our Arctic environment provides the ultimate backdrop to reset, connect, and create lasting memories.
We build fully custom itineraries for groups of all sizes—from intimate family gatherings to company-wide retreats.
Special Private Celebrations: Birthdays & Anniversaries
Mark your special occasion with an adventure you and your guests will talk about for years. Skip the traditional venue and take your family and friends straight into the Swedish Lapland wilderness.
- Birthday Adventures: Celebrate another trip around the sun with an exhilarating husky hike, a winter dog sledding expedition, or lighthearted team games in the snow, followed by a cozy gathering inside our grillkåta.
- Milestone Anniversaries: Gather multiple generations for a tranquil day of ice fishing, a scenic nature walk, and a slow-cooked celebratory meal served around an open fire under the Arctic sky.
- Custom Festivities: We take care of the details, from traditional Sámi delicacies like Suovas to hot drinks and a warm fire, ensuring your personal celebration feels authentic, effortless, and special.
Corporate & Business Events: Conferences & Celebrations
Step away from office walls and screen time. The natural peace and rugged beauty of Piteå provide the ideal environment to improve workflow, spark creativity, and reward your team’s hard work.
- Nature-Based Conferences: Combine strategic planning with outdoor adventure. We partner closely with a unique conference location set deep in nature, allowing you to pair focused indoor business sessions with refreshing Arctic breaks.
- Team Building & Fire Competitions: Strengthen team dynamics with friendly outdoor challenges, such as fire-building workshops, navigation tasks, or cooperative wilderness spellen designed to build trust and shared memories.
- Company Milestones & Year-End Celebrations: Reward your staff with a full-day experience featuring dog sledding, an open-fire lunch feast, and an optional wood-fired sauna recovery session.
What We Offer Across Every Season
- Outdoor Adventure: Thrilling dog sledding in winter, vibrant husky hikes in summer and autumn, snowshoeing, or peaceful ice fishing.
- Open-Fire Dining: Hearty, traditional meals prepared right over crackling flames, served inside a cozy wooden grill hut (grillkåta) or directly along the trail.
- Flexible Durations: Choose from a focused Half-Day session (3–4 hours), a comprehensive Full-Day itinerary, or a multi-day Retreat complete with local accommodations and meeting spaces.
