Working with huskies isn’t limited to dog sledding; there are several other disciplines where dogs can do pulling work, such as bikejoring, canicross, and skijoring.

During the summer, we go on husky hikes, which fall under the category of canicross. Hiking allows us to focus on giving one-on-one attention to the dogs. On warmer days, we head into the forest, where it is usually much cooler.

These adventures are great for keeping the dogs’ bodies and minds active, while heavy pulling work resumes once the weather cools down.
